A special feature of cantilever shelving is that all components are made individually in accordance with the required dimensions. The advantages of this system are-full availability of all placed materials and cargo and the convenience of placing a wide range of bulky cargo, such as rolled metal, lumber, beams, plastic profiles, rolls, pipes, logs, etc. Cantilever racks can be installed both indoors and outdoors.
The cargo is located on at least two consoles, it is allowed to move the cargo along the length of the rack, beyond the consoles by a maximum of 50% of the center distance of the racks. Along the length of the horizontal console, it should be located evenly, strictly in the center of the console and base, and not go beyond the horizontal consoles.
The cost of using single-sided and double-sided shelves in terms of product units is low. For cantilever racks, special decking can be purchased if necessary. This allows them to be modified for use as a shelf storage system. Maintenance of cantilever racks is carried out using a forklift.
Configuration of cantilever racks
First, let's analyze what cantilever racks consist of:
- Base-with the help of it, the shelves are attached to the floor.
-
Rack - connecting to the base by means of bolted fastening.
-
Console - hangs on the rack with the required pitch.
-
Console limiter-prevents the load from falling.
-
Brace - it connects the racks to each other.
-
Brace hook - used to attach the brace to the rack.
Cantilever structures can be installed both indoors and outdoors. They are not affected by climatic factors, so the use of such racks allows you to increase the efficiency of storage space use by reducing the number of aisles between sections.
The flexibility of using the system is achieved by the ability to complete additional tiers if you need to store more products. Cantilever racks have high strength and durability, requiring no maintenance. Each section can handle up to 30 tons of cargo.
