The lower shelves of the pallet racks were replaced with gravity shelves, thus converting the lower static tiers into dynamic systems. The lower shelves of gravity are tilted towards the collector, and the upper one towards the packer, where empty containers are rolled down for replenishment. As a result, the FIFO principle is observed. Significantly saves time. The number of products that are directly available is growing significantly and, thus, the commission productivity increases.

To implement the client's requests, it was proposed to implement the following equipment based on the mezzanine structure:
- Conveyor for trays
- Pallet Conveyor
- Cargo lift for unsecured and unaccompanied cargo
The shelving structure combines lightweight shelf racks on the lower tier and 6 upper tiers of pallet storage. The lower tier is equipped with high-strength protective elements. To prevent small items from falling out, special metal panels have been developed that are attached to the side and back of the cell. For small-piece goods, cardboard boxes of a certain size with dividers inside are designed.To restrict access to individual SMK shelving units, doors were installed that are attached to the front shelving frames and locked with a key.
2 lines of cantilever racks with a total length of 15 meters were installed. The height of the cantilever racks was 4.8 meters (5 tiers). In addition, gravity shelves with a total of 192 units are integrated into the existing front racks on the 4 lower tiers. Thus, the issue of organizing a selection zone has been resolved.
